. . . reason why the Detroit Tigers baseball team has never scheduled another dollar burger night at any of their home ball parks since TIGER BURGER was first broadcast in 1960. No one expected to see Popeye and Wimpy trekking across India on the back of a giant tortoise anyway, let along being confused by mute natives, talking Bengals and gabby turtles. Now that the price of a retail franchise location's White Castle slider is about a buck, it is hard to imagine that generously-portioned hamburgers will be available for just one singleton at the Tigers' diamond-shaped comedy club anytime soon. If you need to know the price of a turtle soup serving, you'll have to go their yourself.
