Baby Daddy

Chicago PD is very well written and the acting is top notch! But for a minor twist in the plot I'd give this episode higher marks. The realism in this series is palpable and has the opportunity to speak to a still growing problem in America, that of the fractured family unit. Burgess and Ruzek are tough Street smart cops and their relationship has been a theme of late, more so now that she is pregnant! Sadly, they seem to be falling into the 'Baby Momma, Baby Daddy' syndrome where the average relationship in that condition seems less committed as couples, many times leading to a fractured childhood for the offspring! I get that the show reflects a realistic view of the times, but then it wouldn't be so terrible to showcase a couple committed by a bond of marriage!

I found this episode as all of them fast paced and exciting. I was very upset to see the cliche "I'm the mother and the one carrying the baby, so it's up to me as how this will work" scenario. I'm on Adams side. He's the father so he has as much right to decide on their life. I live in Australia and this show, shows us how the police system tries to work in a highly populated country in a highly populated city such as Chicago illinois USA. Love this show will love it forever💓💓💓
