I am a huge fan of Reno 911. This show is so close to a real life Reno 911. From talking drunks down off roofs to chasing bears. The lives of these officers is at least interesting, if not thankless. The residents of Alaska seem to get away with a lot more than the 'lower 48'. Enjoyable show.

I don't normally watch COP shows as they all seem the same. However, ALASKA PD isn't just about COPS. That is if you're smart enough to REALIZE it. This show is about HOW these cops have to be Officers, Social Workers, Rescuers and often Adventurers. They live in a State without enough Social Service support, Mental Health care facilities and in some cases Medical support. I think these guys and a few gals are AMAZING... They care about their communities and the PEOPLE living there. Who cares WHERE they recruit from? Thank GOD Alaskan Law Enforcement realizes it takes a SPECIAL personality to work in this environment and therefore CANNOT hire everyone who applies.
Also, the scenery is BEAUTIFUL.... No other COP show compares.
Just watch it you wont regret it

I absolutely LOVE THIS SHOW!!!! I'm watching the season finale and I want to stop people before they start: I know morons are gonna say the officer in Petersburg Alaska didn't use anything to disinfect the items the patient got bloody with the lacerated arm from being an idiot and punching through his own front window. My answer is simple: YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY USED BECAUSE THEY EDIT STUFF OUT AND YOU WEREN'T THERE!!! All you cop haters and race baiters should find another show to hate on. And leave LivePD alone too.

Not sure what below review was looking for. There is no narrator in this show but the police themselves. They don't dramatize it up like most reality tv shows. They show and speak and are giving raw footage. I thought this show was great and really shows how small town either love or hate the police which is unfortunate because they work their asses off. Loved seeing Petersburg PD. Back the blue, these Alaska PD officers are fantastic, like most all police in our country.
Now I understand why people wanna defund the police

Just watching your show I am 100% Republican So I believe in police but I watch these officers determine witch laws they want to Enforce and which ones they do not ..Sad that the police department is no longer anyone you can count especially in Fairbanks

Pretty disgusting they couldn't find Alaskan cops to follow. Is it a flaw in he network or the Alaska police recruiting department. This show isn't worththe time it takes to turn it on.
