- After a fall accident, Patrick and Joanne Severe lost their only son. For years, Joanne believed that her son is still alive but Patrick thought she was delusional. Joseph is the son of Jacques and Alyssa Malcolm, but Joanne is certain that he is her son Alex. She is willing to prove that in court. To help her in her quest, her lawyer requested a DNA test which is granted by the judge. The Malcolm family is ready to do everything to prove that the boy is actually their song. Their family is comprised of 2 other kids which make them a total of four kids. One of the kids is named Alicia who is also mistaken by the Legonde's family. Gisele Legonde thinks Alicia is her sister Sarah. Sarah was also dead after an accident involving two adults at a night club in which she was not supposed to be in. By trying to prove that Joseph is Alex, Joanne is found insane .Giselle in her case, by blaming herself for Sarah's death and trying to prove that Sarah is still alive, she becomes insane. Joanne only job was to take care of her kid while Patrick goes to work to take care of the family. Losing their only son put a strain on the family in which Patrick becomes a stranger to Joanne. The Malcolm family is very happy with their kids and is willing to do the unthinkable to keep their kids. No one, not even a judge can say otherwise. Giselle Legonde is part of a dance group called Lady Sparkles. With the help of her band mates, she will support her mom's bad attitude towards her due to her part in her sister's death. Joanne also is willing to do everything to prove that this boy is her son. Will justice prevail? Or is Joanne actually crazy?
