The film is set in the Copper Triangle on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia at Kadina and Moonta. Scenes on the Yorke Peninsula feature the Hughes Enginehouse along with many other historical buildings and landscapes at the Moonta Mines. Buildings and room interiors at the Farmshed Museum were brought to life in the exterior and interior sets.
Before the film's World Premiere, the movie was screened as a special pre-release screening as part of the 2019 South Australian Living Artists Festival, showing at the Statewide Cinema at Kadina on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia on 30th August 2019.
The movie was entirely filmed in South Australia where it was filmed and produced in Adelaide and the Yorke Peninsula and the state's South East region. Studio work was done at production house Designworks Studios at Somerton Park in South Australia.
The movie was four years in the making starting in 2015 and being completed in 2019.
