In William Castle's catalog of gimmickry that made cheap-jack horror films like "The Tingler" so much fun to watch back in the day, he neglected to invent "Blurrovision", but the crew at Playgirl-TV (including logical suspect Skye Blue, though no director is credited here) filled that gap later by tossing in many a dreamy-sex vignette in which the photography goes beyond soft focus to "whazzat?". In several of this 2008 Wicked Pictures compilation of Playgirl content one is hard- pressed to make out the genitalia involved in XXX action, let alone anything else, so blurry is the image.
That's the case with "Morning Love", wasting the beauty and sexual prowess of Roxanne Hall, humping her man in the early hours. And in "Riding Stick Shift" we have Johnny Castle humping an identified girl in such extremely fuzzy conditions that I was tempted to check my video settings.
Best scene, thankfully closer to crystal clear than the aforementioned, is "Day in the Park" in which a pristine beauty poses for art student Jean Val Jean outdoors and then humps him. This creates the romantic but explicit sex content that Playgirl TV delivers at its best.
The late Haley Paige is lovely (as always) in "Haley Gets a Jump", showing her encounter with a tow truck stud after experiencing car trouble. Unfortunately there is zero chemistry (to use pornographers' favorite word) between her and the bloke, who remains unknown to me as this Wicked release fails to identify the actors with their segments, leaving all credits to catch-all displays on the DVD box only.
