The corpse of Sandrine Richomme has been found in a lock of the Canal du Midi. The police captain Fabre will be in charge of the investigation; he knows the victim and the judge Richomme is the first suspect. Some days a second corpse has been found in the same canal. The Canal du Midi , which was build between 1666 and 1961 is still used nowadays: it's a World Heritage site.
