Pretty ordinary series

Pretty ordinary climax. the series lost its sheen when the killer starts playing revenge games while talking about karma. started somewhere and ended somewhere.

A Great End for A Great Season 1
bibekanandaGhosh26 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Everyone crying about how this ending sucks should remember one thing: it's not the ending of the series, rather the prologue of a grand opening of season 2. It already hinted a faceoff between actual Shubh and DJ in the last scene. The revelation of Shubh's identity is really intriguing. We can also smell a fallout between DJ and Nikhil while Lolark being dead. This leaves the CBI team in shambles while Shubh has the upper hand now. The only weak parts were the diary casually falling out of Shubh aka Rasool's bag. It's awkward watching a criminal mastermind as sharp as him this callous. Other than that everything is brilliantly executed.

Not perfect, but good

Warning: Spoilers
Well, that was a great ending! But like the previous few episodes, this one also has some plotholes that you can't ignore.

Why did Lolark go alone with Rasul if he suspected him?

Why did Nikhil waste so much time waiting?

Did Nikhil ever tell where he was held hostage? That's the first thing he should have done after leaving that place.

The climax was great. My heart goes out to Lolark - he was my favourite in the show.

So now they have Kesar, but Rasul and the original Shubh - i.e podcast guy is still out there. Wonder how they will tackle all these now that the heroes have fallen apart.

One of the better series. Really enjoyed watching it!

Fast paced episode with lots of twists n turns. Raises a solid question about the real killer.

This one nailed it man. Fans of Saw, Trick (2019), The Dark Knight, Department Q series n psychological thrillers will love this. The confession of Arshad's character shud have been in front of the entire nation. Sharib Hashmi gave a worthy performance after Amazon Prime's The Family Man. Amey Wagh with his creepy eyes is downright sinister. This series needs a sequel to elaborate more on other characters too. And finally my idea of crushed Crocin powder is utilized in this episode for detecting fingerprints.

Another desperate ending like Family Man and Sacred Games
milindgoel20 May 2020
Till the episode 7 , it was truly amazing and intriguing. Final episode is series's own nemesis. No connection at all between rest of the series and the ending. A criminal with the highest level of rules and principles based on his mythological beliefs suddenly goes astray. Random ending , way too open ended and vague. No sense at all in the ending and no doubt its rating is the least amongst all episodes. Director was in too much haste to finish the season and lacked proper insight for a deserving ending.

Bizzare and too much hurry up for finale just like GOT;All Season 10/10;Last Episode/finale 2/10
rules-akon-867-41764212 March 2020
Everything till here goes well but suddenly they are in too much hurry to finish things and creat space for season 2-and that's where they missed the opportunity to become one of the finest crime thriller of recent time including Sacred Game Season1 and Alt's Apaharan

Very poor climax for such a great season
vikas678200021 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Show was awesome till episode 7. Last episode was too much wavy and hurried. Everyone who were using their brains till episode 7 suddenly stopped thinking. Nikhil waste so much time and don't call police. Also he forget about giving his hostage location. Lolark who has hunch on Rasool goes alone with him. DJ forgot that man in podcast was real Shubh and not Kesar. No one ask Rasool where he was when he went along with Lolark. Lolark wife does not inform police that he is in danger.

This show first 6 episodes were 10/10. 7 is 8.5. last episode is really pathetic.

No connection with initial murders.
prashantamali11 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I was expecting dots to be connected at the end. Guy in North est was killed for? Why dj wife was killed, why kolkata murder took place.. Also if killing of cbi agent by his partner and nobody questioned the computer guy. Murders were good and clean but motive was missing on bigger scope. If asur wanted to create chaos where is the chaos.

Overhyped and stupid. The concept branched out towards many thing and ended up being nothing. Amateur production house.

Why all good series have such a bad end.
gameearn7 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I just cant believe people who did the first 3 episodes, have done the final ones. Why insult your audience like this. Why are you ruining all the good and great work they done earlier.

Clearly inspiration was SEVEN, and very well adapted the start and middle. Then since you could not copy Seven End, your mediocrity, lazillyness , time pressuree etc lead you to be ASUR. Disappointed to see people who could produce good stuff finally gave in.. Fall was very unremarkable.

1.) DJ checks all his cases to find common case between him and nikhil but conveniently forgets the case which led to seperation?

2.) Smartest Tech guy who helped us finally turns out be killer, no reason why he was helping at first?

3.) Honourable DJ suddenly turns corrupt to frame a boy. Why &20 arc

4.) Kesar- guy who gave the biggest clues like rashi turn out was bad guys?? Why was he so helpfull?

5.) Kesar - Who sitting in CBI, Planning live to kill 3 people infront of CBI comissioner and senior officer. But they are unable fram charges ( start of season 2)

i wanted to write all the 200 plotholes but don't deserve it. It was that bad.
