First appearance of Donald's girlfriend Daisy Duck in the DuckTales (2017) reboot, where she appears as a no nonsense type party planner.
Daisy's hair and wardrobe in this episode are based on her wardrobe from the classic short Donald's Diary (1954).
Whilst Daisy never made any appearances in the original DuckTales (1987), her voice actress Tress MacNeille did voice a number of characters throughout the series many years before becoming the current voice of Daisy. These include Circe, Queen Ariel, Oprah Webfeet, Millionara Vanderbucks, Feathers Galore, Yuckalinda, Griselda, Swanwhite, Mrs. Quackenbush, one of the voices for Mrs. Featherby, Agnes the Harpy and the Microduck Commander.
Before charging at Graves, Manny shakes his hooves as if "reloading" them, paying tribute to what August Walker does before a fight in Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018).
Experienced voice actor Tress MacNeille (reprising her long time role as Daisy) is the 8th cast member of the DuckTales (2017) Reboot to've previously been in the Original DuckTales (1987) as well. The other 7 cast members had been Tony Anselmo, Frank Welker (uncredited in the reboot), Jim Cummings, Michael Bell, Corey Burton, Russi Taylor and Rob Paulsen.
