Knock Down

Warning: Spoilers
Another really forgettable episode of NCIS: LA here. The Deeks and Eric stuff was just not funny no matter how hard they tried.

The storylines are better than cases...

Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoy this show I've been a fan less than a year I binged a lot of episodes this season hasn't been great but there are always moments you feel the characters but not the cases.

This is a feral agency show, not some show about characters' life. Is it hard to write a navy related case? I get that this show doesn't copy the original NCIS but is doing work for the DOJ really necessary? Can you really 'assist' the leading federal agency in the U.S.? They have the manpower and resources.

I've always been a fan of Sam's and G's banter it's one of the reasons I really love this show. At the start, my cheeks were hurting because I couldn't stop smiling because of their interaction.

In the end, we see why Sam was so reluctant to discuss Anna's and G's relationship because he entering one of his own. While I like this like that because I'm invested in the characters(they are developed well in my opinion) what about the team having a boss? What about some tough cases? What about the action? I know the show has removed a lot of the gun fighting but please invest in some nice and challenging cases!

P.S. I forget about Nell leaving and how it will impact Eric.

Not sure where this is going
neverenoughgold13 April 2020
I started as an early fan of this show after Callen and Sam showed up with Gibbs, Tony, Abby and all back in the spring of 2009. Of course, when the show started its run the following fall, there was some changes in the character mix. The best change was Linda Hunt as the secretive but fearless Hetty. A different building didn't hurt either. Change is inevitable and even expected, especially if it is for the good. Unfortunately some of the recent changes have been, well, not so good. If the show is going to continue, some wrongs need to be righted, namely bring back Nell, let's see more of Hetty, don't let anything happen to Eric and maybe even bring Nate Getz back once in a while. Oh and while we're at it, get rid of Fatima - permanently if at all possible. Too bad Owen Granger had to go. RIP, Miguel Ferrer.

All the things
brrzzpffrt9 June 2020
Vacation recap, breast pumping, woman post-pregnancy problems, baby photos, bureaucracy, a weird bromance and a lot of talk about whoever's feelings, this episode has it all. What it doesn't have is a criminal investigation or any measurable degree of action. Or an actual conclusion. I've seen Baywatch episodes that were a better fit for any crime drama, action or whatever series than this one. Now the constant changes in actors or roles just being unfilled doesn't add anything, it just takes any meaning away so this is just something for background noise and I hope they get back on track at some point.

I thought this show had already reached the bottom of the barrell.....
Apparently the bottom of the barrel has a leak in it. Pumping breast milk during an interview??? Seriously????

Where's the beef? (Cast)
jdgtc113 April 2020
I have been a loyal weekly viewer, from the beginning. I have been very unhappy with the writing this year. Most importantly, I can't stand the cast changes. The long term absences of major characters, like Hetty, Eric, and now Nell, change the entire dynamic of the show. NCIS LA is no longer enjoyable. Time to cancel it. The reruns are better.
