The producers were aiming to film an up to date interview with Leo at London's Hippodrome before the show was to start, but when Leo fell ill and time was running short, no interview was captured. This was to be used as an added extra on a DVD release.
This complete film remains unreleased (as at March 2020) Certain clips were taken and made into a trailer which was then used to promote the follow up UK tour of 2016. This showed a montage of highlights. The band lineup then changed, hence that's why Leo didn't want to release this particular concert in its entirety.
The show was filmed at the Harlow Playhouse on the UK 'Restless Years' tour of the UK on Saturday 26th September. The previous night, the film crew were to shoot a first show at London's Hippodrome, (25th September) but Leo felt unwell, therefore that particular performance was subsequently postponed.
Michael Armstrong was the 'support' act for Leo for most of the Restless Years UK tour 2015.
This is Sayer's first studio album in six years, and was apparently released earlier this year in Australia, his adopted homeland, by the Fanfare label. An absence of supporting material makes it hard to offer any more information, but the good news for fans is that Sayer was to be back in Britain promoting it 'live' in the late autumn of 2015..
