This is Me…Now: A Love Story is a film starring Jennifer Lopez and directed by Dave Meyers.
I must confess, at first I had no desire to watch this film, but as a professional, I felt obligated. However, I must also confess that we were pleasantly surprised by this original musical, written and starring Jennifer Lopez, which revolves around her own life and love affairs, as one may expect.
However, “This is Me…Now: A Love Story” is not just about the romances known from magazines and television. It is a futuristic video clip with several musical numbers, each with high quality in terms of photography and set design. Although it may seem self-centered and geared towards her fans, I must admit that “This is Me…Now: A Love Story” is of great quality and production.

Jennifer Lopez knows when she’s hit her limit in love scenes Jennifer Lopez | Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
Lopez may have been experienced when it came to love scenes. But she also didn’t mind letting her directors know if she felt uncomfortable at times. Her limits when doing love scenes would change based on her maturity.
“There were times I hit the wall early on and you go, ‘Ok I can’t do that,’” Lopez once told Miami Herald. “You don’t know you have limits when you’re young. Then you reach the limit, and you go, ‘Oh, I can’t do that. And next time I won’t.’ Then...

The music video for Megan Thee Stallion's hit song "Plan B" has finally arrived. The blacked-out Casey Cadwallader and John Miserendino-directed visual spotlights the rapper as the solo star while she recites her unapologetic lyrics in a black cutout Mugler jumpsuit.
"Dear f*ck n***a, still can't believe I used to f*ck wit' ya / poppin' Plan B's 'cause I ain't planned to be stuck wit' ya," she raps in the video. ". . . Ladies, love yourself, 'cause this sh*t could get ugly / That's why it's, 'F*ck n***as, get money!'" Megan's gritty track samples Jodeci and Wu-Tang Clan's famous "Freek'n You Remix."
Her new song released on April 22, right after the Houston hottie graced the stage during the first weekend of Coachella. She debuted a brief snippet of the track, which she described as a "very motherf*cking personal" song dedicated "to whom it may the f*ck concern.

"My 24 hour window is closing!" Hulu has debuted the first official trailer for Plan B, a new comedy in the vein of Superbad, the second feature film directed by actress Natalie Morales (following her feature debut Language Lessons). Kuhoo Verma and Victoria Moroles star as friends Sunny and Lupe, and the cast includes Michael Provost, Mason Cook, Josh Ruben, Hana Hayes, and Bobby Tisdale. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Natalie Morales' Plan B, direct from Hulu's YouTube: The best trips are never planned. The road trip film is a staple of the comedy genre. We’ve seen it done a million times before, where you take two friends, throw them in a car, have them go on a long trip to achieve some sort of time-sensitive goal, and obviously, hilarity ensues. Well, that basic premise gives you an idea of what to expect with the upcoming comedy film, “Plan B.”

However, when you watch the trailer for “Plan B,” it becomes pretty clear that the teen comedy is far from your typical entry in the road trip subgenre.

Though Marvel has decided to consolidate all of its cinematic universe offerings onto Disney+, some outliers still live on for other streaming services. In May 2021, Hulu is set to premiere the latest non-canon Marvel series.
The animated comedy Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K. is set to premiere on May 21 and stars Patton Oswalt as the titular Marvel villain. Oswalt’s Modok is every bit the devious floating head that he’s depicted as in the comics. He’s also your every day family man and the show will take on the format of a workplace sitcom. Sounds kinda fun! It’s no wonder that M.O.D.O.K. is the last Hulu Marvel show standing.
In non-Marvel offerings this month, Shrill will debut its third and final season on May 7. This comedy based on Lindy West’s memoir and starring SNL‘s Aidy Bryant has been a consistently bright presence on the streaming scene since...

“He said my performance was very respectable and whatnot, but I’m old. I don’t fall for those words,” “Minari” star says
Youn Yuh-Jung had a viral moment as she won her Oscar for “Minari” when she turned to presenter Brad Pitt — who also happens to be a producer on the film — and said, “Where were you during filming?”
While many viewers interpreted that as a flirtatious overture, it wasn’t. In an interview post-Oscars, the Korean actress Youn revealed what she told Pitt once she got offstage. And if you’ve seen her character in “Minari,” you know she didn’t mince words.
“I told him to provide more money to the movie,” she told NBC News on Wednesday. (Pitt’s production Plan B was one of the producers of the film.) “I also told him to come to Korea…He promised that he will. But I don...

Shout! Studios has acquired North American rights to the platonic love story “Language Lessons” from Duplass Brothers Productions, following a competitive bidding situation. The news comes on the heels of the movie’s world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival and its Audience Award win at the SXSW Film Festival.
“Language Lessons” marks the feature directorial debut of Natalie Morales. It stars and was written by Mark Duplass and Morales, and was produced by Mel Eslyn.
The film follows Adam (Duplass), whose husband surprises him with a gift of a year’s worth of weekly Spanish lessons. But when tragedy strikes, his teacher, Cariño (Morales), becomes a lifeline he didn’t know he needed and the two develop an unexpected and complicated emotional bond.
Shot in secret during the pandemic with a skeleton crew in Los Angeles and Costa Rica, “Language Lessons’ ” exploration of long-distance connection is both of its time and timeless.

Growing up, movies and television were one of Carmelo Anthony’s favorite escapes. The NBA superstar was inspired by the strong characters on TV shows such as “Martin,” “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and Spike Lee’s classic movie “Do the Right Thing.”
While the 36-year-old has found immense success on the basketball court, currently as the star power forward for the Portland Trail Blazers, he’s always had a passion to create content. Now he’s putting himself in a position to, quite literally, call the shots, by launching a production company that aims to champion inclusive narratives and voices that have gone unheard for too long.
“Storytelling brings people together, and it can serve as a vehicle for propelling larger societal conversations and understanding,” Anthony says. “We are interested in all types of stories that have the power to serve as catalysts for the change we wish to see in the world.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for… hot gossip about Hope and Landon’s relationship, apparently.
At least that was the Necromancer’s first question when Landon waltzed into his ice cream parlor from hell on Thursday’s Legacies. The frozen food establishment was apparently his personal prison, courtesy of Malivore, complete with shackles that wouldn’t break until he did the one thing he’d “never” do: humiliate himself in front of his customers. Cue the most disturbing performance of “If You’re Happy And You Know It” ever recorded.

The characters, played by Steven Yeun, Yeri Han and Yuh-jung Youn, among others, live in a small mobile home on isolated patch of land; one of the challenges was to convey both the sense of home and the vast, green area. Praising his artisan team, Chung says, “This film wouldn’t have been possible without them. I think they know that, and I hope they get the recognition they deserve.”

Recreating the ponderous, often clumsy movement of bees in a board game could not have been easy, yet somehow Plan B Games and designer Dan Halstad have managed to do so with Beez, the latest release in Plan B’s line of attractive, similar looking games that also happens to include Azul. In Beez, each player simply takes the role of a single bee – represented by an attractive and colourful miniature – and attempts to collect pollen from the various flowers that make up the board. When someone collects their twelth pollen, the endgame is triggered and a final scoring determines the winner.
Aside from complex scoring, Beez is a pretty straightforward game. Interestingly enough, I find myself saying this about Plan B Games products quite often, with Azul another game that pretty simple at a mechanical level, but made more complex by some of the interesting ways in which you would score points to win.
