interesting action anime

im surprised this hasn't been reviewed already...it was one of the better animes I've seen recently...

its set in a futuristic Germany (although everyone speaks Japanese), where humans have the technology to get enhanced by nanomachines that make them stronger and less vulnerable, but also angrier and more dangerous. These enhanced humans are called demoniacs and are policed by XAT. The unofficial leader of the demoniacs is Xargin, and he is one tough dude...

the story mostly follows an XAT member named Amanda, and her adopted brother Malek, along with a few other XAT members and a few randoms as they chase, hunt and learn about the demoniacs and try to stop Xargin...

the animation is awesome, although some purists might not like the CG mixed with it, but i think half the battles could not have been done without the CG. The character development is interesting and the story never gets boring, with plenty of action and metaphors to human behaviour and strange religious undertones. Anyway, check it out, its worth it, if u have the time...

To many over used tropes

Warning: Spoilers
This could have been an interesting anime but it falls far to short by unimaginative characters, old used up side stories and lack of consistency.

The premise of a corpse rises up as another creature and randomly attacks people sounds like a zombie show but it's not. Most of those that are turned are alive. That's the main interesting story line.

The first few episodes are like a really bad out of control cop movie, where the cop can ignore orders, disobey a suspension, walk out of quarantine and everything else and no one bats an eye.

The dialogue is so bad it seems it was written by a washed up hack who was to lazy or insipid to even write an interesting line, and when it tries to be clever it's just tired old slogans that have lost all meaning.

The anime side has some nice movement and battle scenes which keep this from losing another two stars.

I am sure if you want an action anime and dialogue and consistency are not big on your wish list you will find this a decent watch.
