- Episode 6 - a character remarks about Hikari "You're a real wild horse, aren't you?" then asks her, "Is Kei able to ride you?" Hikari seems dumbfounded at the remark. Not sure if this is a translation issue or the character is being dirty minded.
- Episode 8 - Hikari is in a swimsuit and Kei ends up with her cleavage in his face.

- Through about half the series Akira has a 'womance' (see 'bromance') bordering on a possessive lesbian crush on Hikari. She is extremely possessive and physically touchy with Hikari.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Yahiro is an extremely dark and manipulative character who 'kidnaps' and imprisons Hikari to wreak revenge on Kei and Akira.
- Tadashi, as a child, disappoints his mother and is thrown from an upstairs window with a rope tied to his feet - a "bungee jump" punishment. Meant to be comical, but may be frightening to some children.
