One of the surprises of last year was Gareth Edwards' ultra low-budget sci-fi tale "Monsters" from Vertigo Films. While Edwards has moved onto other things, the studio behind it intends to press forward with a sequel and Bleeding Cool has the first details. Talking up the project at Cannes, producer Alan Niblo says the story will be set in the same world as the first. While the actual plot wasn't revealed beyond the focus being on a pair of brothers, he says it will be akin to Joseph Conrad's "Heart Of Darkness" which would mean a trip along a river into the heart of the alien-filled territory.
