Károly Gesztesi was originally set to play Miltényi. However, the actor got injured only 2 days before filming began. Acclaimed stage actor Géza D. Hegedüs stepped in at the last minute and took over the role.
The most difficult thing during the casting process was finding the right actor for the role of Röné. Many actors were invited to the casting, and in the last round Zoltán Schmied, Zsolt Nagy, Dávid Csányi, Csaba Zöld, Marcell Miklós, Zoltán Miller, Bálint Adorjáni were screen-tested with the eventual winner Tamás Szabó Kimmel (Miki).
