A pleasing variation of the usual Indian tale, in which the "Devil woman" converts the hero into a beautiful spotted pony. The Indian girl remains true to her lover. The pony unties a rope from his own feet and later rescues the girl in a manner that will please children in the audience in particular. Later, the villainous India and the Devil woman are killed, which breaks the spell and restores Mona her lover in his natural form. An attractive change in Indian pictures. - The Moving Picture World, June 7, 1913
