Since first glimpsing her in the Giallo Torso,I've found Tina Aumont to be an extremely enticing prescience, partly caused by the wide eyes of Aumont always looking like they are in a permanent daydream. While reading up about Aumont's role in Tinto Brass's The Howl,I stumbled on an experimental doc starring Aumont, which led to me getting set to watch some home movies.

The outline of the doc:

Film maker/painter Frédéric Pardo follows the production of Philippe Garrel's movie The Virgin's Bed. Exploring the locations where the production is taking place,Garrel also gets a chance to spend time with the cast and crew, that includes Garrel's partner Tina Aumont.

View on the film:

Shot with no soundtrack, director Frédéric Pardo brings an experimental, gonzo journalism noise to a film sliced and diced with an abrasiveness that puts the viewer in the midst of filming. Stylishly using the camera as a paint brush,Pardo washes the raw behind the scenes footage with waves of psychedelic colours capture an innocent excitement for life between Pardo and the film makers.Deeply in love with the leading lady,Pardo (who painted portraits of her) presents Tina Aumont (who appears naked in the doc) at her most breathtakingly beautiful in elegant, lingering close-up that give a striking intimacy to this home movie.
