Given that knowing is half the battle, it’s about time you received more intel about Community’s animated episode. Airing April 3, “G.I. Jeff” pays tribute to the ’80s animated series G.I. Joe, and you can take your first peek at the Study Group reimagined as figures of action in the photos above and below: There’s Jeff (Joel McHale) as Wingman (yes, he has a backpack with wings), Annie (Alison Brie) as Tight Ship, Britta (Gillian Jacobs) as Buzzkill, and Shirley as Three Kids.
“[G.I. Joe] was something from our childhood that was very important to us and we had fond memories of it,...

You may not be getting a Christmas-themed episode of Community in your TV stocking this holiday season, but you’re not getting a lump of coal either. Dan Harmon & Co. have unleashed a one-minute, forty-six-second animated short in the style of the 2012 Abed’s Master Key webisodes.
In “Miracle on Jeff’s Street,” we find a sighing Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) home alone before some surprise guests from Greendale crash the proceedings to provide Christmas cheer (and some helpful tune-in information for season 5, which kicks off Jan. 2). Press play and find out why you might want Troy (Donald Glover) to...

The Office‘s Mindy Kaling shows up in not one, but two web series this week, NBC has cooked up the perfect animated appetizer for this week’s Community, and PBS enters the fray. Plus, the ragtag gang from Happy Endings shows up on the Interwebs.
Abed’s Master Key | The writing is tight, the story is fun (Dean Pelton entrusts Abed with the Greendale master key), and every cast member has a role. The only problem? It’s about six episodes too short.

Community: Epic New Promo Celebrates the Return. Plus, the First Webisode!
Last November was when the darkest timeline became a reality for Community fans as word spread that after Christmas, Community was going on hiatus for an unknown amount of time. This set off warning bells that led to fears of cancellation and whether the remaining episodes of season 3 would air. There was a swift response that the second half of the season would indeed air and we will return to Greendale next Thursday, 15 March at 8 on NBC. To celebrate this return an epic new promo aired last night during Joel McHale's other project The Soup and you can catch this below. The cast also participated in a PaleyFest event and revealed some things that will happen in the remaining half and also talked about the chances of renewal. Warning spoilers ahead.

Before the March 15th return of "Community" (which you must promise to watch live), we're getting three animated webisodes from our favorite study group. Each one is two minutes long and though it won't relate to the season directly, it will give us a fun look at the gang that we've missed so much.
Check out the first one below. In "Abed's Master Key," the Dean (Jim Rash) has rented out the group's table and everyone has fewer fingers. Find out what Troy (Donald Glover) does with this information.
We're so excited that the show is coming back! Check out what the cast said about the upcoming second half of the season at the Paley fest and let us know what you think of the webisodes. Thank you, NBC for giving fans another chance to watch this show!

We're just a mere few days away from new "Community" episodes on NBC, but to help satiate the masses, the new web series has begun!
In "Abed's Master Key," Dean Pelton hires Abed to be his temporary assistant and entrusts him with the Greendale Master Key. However, Abed uses his newfound power to help the study group and heads down a dark path.
"These animated shorts are a vital component to our multi-pronged campaign aimed at driving awareness to the show's return to NBC on March 15," Chris Van Amburg, senior vice president of U.S. marketing at Sony Pictures Television, said in a statement. "The 'Community' actors and team were eager to lend their voices and support to an effort intended to engage their loyal fan base that has rabidly kept the show thriving via flash mobs, fan art, viral videos, dedicated fan sites and on Facebook and Twitter."

Are you a fan of NBC’s self-aware sitcom Community? Were you ecstatic when you found out Travis Richey was going to create a web series based on the snippet of a Doctor Who spoof Britta (Gillian Jacobs) showed to Abed (Danny Pudi) that cheered him up when nothing else would? Were you a little disappointed with NBC when they cease and desisted the Inspector Spacetime web series, even though the network was simply protecting its intellectual property? If you answered yes to any and/or all of the above, NBC has an online, animated Community companion program just for you. Abed’s Master Key is a three-part cartoon web series set to debut Wednesday, March 7, eight days before Community will make its broadcast return from a network-imposed hiatus. The animated action will focus on Abed, who is the only individual to respond to Dean Pelton’s (Academy Award-winner and...

For all of us who for the first time in our lives are desperate for winter break to be over so we can get back to school — Greendale Community College, in this case — here's a much-needed reprieve. Starting this Wednesday, an animated short, Abed's Master Key, will be aired online at NBC.com and on Hulu in three parts. As the title suggests, Abed finds the master key to Greendale, which we are confident the gang will use to elevate their dysfunction and mischief to new heights. After that, just a week until the regular season of Community returns on March 15, which just can't get here fast enough.

It's been a long winter for "Community" fans since the show went on hiatus, but spring is definitely on its way. Before the NBC comedy returns on March 15, three animated short clips will debut on Hulu starting March 7.
The shorts, titled “Abed’s Master Key” parts I, II & III, center on Abed (Danny Pudi) and his adventures when granted a Greendale Master Key. Abed abuses his newfound power and, in true "Community" fashion, hijinks follow.
Pudi talked to Entertainment Weekly at PaleyFest in Los Angeles Saturday about the animated shorts.
“The show fits into the web world very well,” he told EW. “[They are] almost like the tags we do at the end of an episode."
It seems NBC agrees and is eager to reach out to the show's fans, who were less than pleased when the network released its mid-season schedule, and mysteriously left "Community" without a return date. NBC announced...

Today From Software released a patch for their top selling franchise Dark Souls that will be available for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. This patch is being released in both Us and Pal. There are tons of different changes to the game, some will increase certain abilities other changes will decrease weapons or magic abilities.
Patch 1.05 is essentially the same patch that was released in Japan earlier this year, though here may be a few differences but they are unknown at this time. I have yet to play Dark Souls still, but after all the praise the game has gotten I will definitely need to move it up on my to do list. Probably during the Christmas lull is when I will get to the game, I just have so many great games I need to play it is unbelievable. Does anyone who has played the game have any recommendations...

Here’s the problem (the only problem) with being David Beckham: Going undercover is very nearly impossible. That’s because when you’re as hot as fresh sh*t, there really isn’t any way to downplay that hotness, be it disguise or otherwise. But that’s exactly what The Ellen Degeneres Show tried to do last week, when they outfitted Mr. Beckham in a red polo and khakis and tried to convince customers he was just a regular ol’ Target employee and not a human Louis Vuitton garment bag made out of shark abs. Nice try! Because even in this pitiful get-up, customers were like “Waaaiiiidaminuuuute. You’re David Beckham!” It doesn’t help that he was standing next to a giant sign with his name on it. Or that the man-scent emanating from his pits is the “Master Key” that hold the combination to literally every vagina in the world.
