An excellent western type of man has been chosen to play the leading role in this picture. In fact it may be said of the picture that his work and personality are the most attractive features of the production. It is the story of a man whose life has been almost ruined by drink. The picture opens at his return restored to a semblance of his former and better self. The picture naturally has a good moral. - The Moving Picture World, April 10, 1915
