Speaking of the latter's mansion, why does she feel compelled to have a 120-foot-long banquet table? After all, she lives alone, apparently without the benefit of a regular domestic staff. Is she house-rich and cash-poor, or simply too cheap to dole out monthly wages? Which raises the additional question of why Popeye would waste his time with such a incorrigible fickle self-centered tightwad?
