  Sgt. Gregory Parker : I thought "junkie chic" got you into all the good restraunts.

  Naismith : [ignoring Parker's joke]  Good to go? Hmm?

  Ed Lane : Absolutely.

  Naismith : Okay.

  [leaves] 

  Sgt. Gregory Parker : Did he say "asshat?"

  Ed Lane : He said "asshat."

• Ed Lane : Alpha team, we're switching up. Sam, you're gonna be three. I'm gonna take lead entry.

  Sam Braddock : We're changing the tac plan?

  Ed Lane : Tac plan's a thing of beauty - let's go. Jules, Spike, drop us off roof side.

  Sam Braddock : Why?

  Ed Lane : Because when you're democratically elected team leader, you get to make autocratic decisions. Let's go.

  Sgt. Gregory Parker : Be careful, children.

• Sam Braddock : How else was it going to end?

  Ed Lane : I don't know! I don't know, but that is not your call! Maybe I was wrong, Sam, maybe.

  [shoves Sam against the truck] 

  Ed Lane : But I need to know that my team is on my side.

  [walks away] 

  Sam Braddock : Well then treat me like I'm on your team.

  Ed Lane : [walking back]  What?

  Sam Braddock : You want to know what happened in Afghanistan? Is that what this is about? I was taking out targets in a stronghold, 1,500 meters away. The reccy was done, I was cleared to fire. We went down to do the I.D's. One of them was my buddy, Matt. I was sniping with a 50 cal. He shouldn't have been there. I was cleared to fire. You just had to ask.

  Ed Lane : [softer]  You go in on my command. You keep entry formation, and you don't go in without a shield. Are we clear?

  Sam Braddock : Sir.

• Ed Lane : You ain't got the guts!

  Sam Braddock : That's why we get the cool pants.

  Ed Lane : That's what I'm sayin.'
