This is one of those movies that clearly demonstrates how much the quality of Bengali movies have fallen over the years.
There's barely 30mins of story and that's not even uniformly spread out. The movie started as fast paced, and soon they ran out of story then the whole movie started dragging.
But there's a limit to how much you can drag without a story. So I guess the director gathered a team to brainstorm on what else can they do to lengthen the duration to 2 hours. Soon after the initial 45 minutes the movie changed into a sort of a tour guide of the historic places of Chandannagar. That went on for some time.
Once they ran out of the tourist spots, the movie started to become even more dragging. The director seemed absolutely clueless on how to spend the time.
And even if you somehow manage to drag on hoping for a climactic end, be warned, there is none.
So don't make the same mistake I did. Don't waste your time.
Bengali directors keep complaining that Tollywood is dying because the people don't support regional movies anymore, but that's absolutely not true. Directors like this the ones dragging the industry down.
