. . . POPEYE THE LIFEGUARD's gaggle of groupies radically changes. Sometimes most of the gawping gals are blondes, but in the next shot the majority of them are redheads. Of course, Olive Oil--wearing a long-legged outfit from the 1890's--remains the one constant, as the sole brunette. However, the other ladies appear in some scenes attired uniformly in one-piece swim togs; then in later shots, some are sporting skimpy bikinis. If sharks were frequenting this beach, leaving unpredictable sprays of blood in the water, such frenetic swim suit changes would be more comprehensible. However, there are no predators other than Brutus in this episode, and Olive seems to be the only gal who gets her toes damp. Go figure.
