This is just my opinion as a Gay man' with no talent who has experience some of the things in the movie
Watching this movie felt like watching scenes from "every town America". The story line was beautiful and poignant. The way the writter handled the dialogue could have been a bit better . The exchanges between characters at times a bit abnormally rough. I think the dialogue might have benefitted with allowing the characters to improvise the delivery. Mickey Sullivan and Paul Michael Sullivan were extremely good. The scene in the park and the one in Paul Michael Sullivan's room. Touched on the emotions of the story. The last scene with Clare Cooney at Eric and Drew's new home could have been longer and more developed.
