A rather good and efficient TV episode
searchanddestroy-13 October 2009
Warning: Spoilers
It is actually a ninety minutes episode. In this TV series, episodes are independent stories, you only find the lead characters, the cops. And the leader on the Homocide Squad is a black cop. Very surprising in France. In USA, it would be a cliché, but in France...

That's really totally unbelievable. But the characters are good, the story well edited, the narrative frame meticulously built, not boring at all. But it remains a TV product. It could not have been a theâtre movie one.

The tale of an ex con who, after his discharge, wants to get revenge of those who framed him. And in that purpose, he gets help from his girl friend. A hard boiled gal, a gun lover...And the ones who he wants to get revenge from are big scale hoodlums, racketeers.

So, that's the beginning of a gang war in Paris. A real slaughter. Each group of the mob thinks the killings are made by the other side.

This topic reminds me Richard Fleischer's THE DON IS DEAD. But in a lesser scale, of course.

A pretty good try from France. Far better than Navarro or Julie Lescaut crap.
