A beginning to continue
DdSantos1118 December 2020
When I watched the trailer it reminded me of "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" and although the story has some similarities, this is not an action/comedy. It's a twist in a very important event for modern society, with a well written first episode that hints why the fiction could have been real and history rewritten, that has no intention of hiding (even to the point of predictable) the stereotypes of that period (reminding us that some things, regrettably, haven't changed that much) and that made me want to see more. Flowing from more still moments to some "that escalated quickly" ones, keeps quite interesting. The actors were unknown to me but do the job, visually is well done with some beautiful scenes but some not so good CGI (or so it seems) and good FX, costumes and hair and makeup (important in "historical" shows) are really good and the music, though more modern, actually fits in a show that promises action. Overall, it made me want to see the next episode. From then on, time will tell.

The problem isn't zombies...it's WHITE MEN!
ramblingvagabond19 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Evil white men are the real problem here. The good and noble non-white men, and the good and noble downtrodden women are the unsung heroes. We must never forget that when we make movies and tv shows.

It almost felt cheesy when she picked up the gun and showed off her skill. We knew it was going to happen. The man couldn't hit the plate because he's evil and white and male. We knew what would happen the instant she picked up the gun. And the instant we saw their prison was a person of color we knew he was truly innocent.

And the people in charge are always evil, the guards, the nobles, the police, all of them. Why? Because they are in charge.

I honestly don't think justice and honesty existed in the world until very recent times, and only in specific western countries. In ye olden days, everyone was crooked and corrupt. It's a wonder our species made it this far.

Too much
Calicodreamin1 November 2020
Too many characters introduced and not enough clarity on the storyline.
