Originally the film was going to be titled Perro Demonio (Demon Dog), but director Sebastian Perillo chose to prioritize the conflict between Sol and Gonzalo, and present the dog more heroic than demonic, so it was decided to change the title.
Because the director Sebastian Perillo wanted the town where the film takes place to be unrecognizable, different places in the City of Buenos Aires and the Province of Buenos Aires were filmed, distant from each other, sometimes up to 40 km.
The film was shot in 24 days. 22 days in 2019 and 2 days in 2020, a year later.
In the script the female dog was called Catalina, but director Sebastian Perillo felt that the dog would be more mysterious if she didn't have a name.
Originally named Perro Demonio.
