Then there is the story of the week format.
Kelly is undercover in a fast food outfit to get information on some drugs being sold.
Sam thinks Kelly would be better to get information on a store selling guns undercover.
Kelly just looks more convincing undercover, she is the more Jack Nicholson type. It is all to do with telling a story that does not stray too far from the truth.
I am not too enthused with the story arc. I do think that Kelly and Sam might make a good team. There is an element of Cagney & Lacey mixed with Moonlighting so far.
