The long awaited death of Babuji finally happened and I was more than happy. I thought since one Tripathi died so no more deaths will take place but damn. Honest review, this season had a very good story with every character given screen time even though many's arc has alread reached it's peak in the first few episodes. But there is one thing I didn't like about this season is the action sequences. Somewhere, Mirzapur lacked in presenting great fight and bullet firing scenes. It was very weird to see Khaleen bhaiyya and Munna getting shot and shoot back. Also, the end, I get it Khaleen bhaiyya injured body could be easily taken to a car and run but I wish they had done it in a plausible way. Apart from these I really enjoyed these season right from the start. I binge watched all the episodes in one sitting from mid night till mid day and then I slept. Lol

I think there is a huge technical mistake in this episode. When Guddu Tripathi was holding Inspector Maurya and pointing a gun to him, there were two police inspectors behind him. One of them could have easily shot him.

There are so many things wrong with the plot, felt like they tv soap writers wrote it.

If we just take last episode for example:

1. Guddu took Maurya hostage and you can clearly see two officer behind Guddu's back just chillin with guns in their hands, if there end goal was to encounter Guddu, he gave enough reason to shoot him when he took a senior officer hostage. Classic soap move to create non-sensical drama.

2. Guddu's father appeared out of nowhere at encounter scene with police jeep, and the constables sent with him are nowhere to be seen.

3. Whole Tyagi's fight was senseless, the gunfight drama scene is less thought out than a CID episode.

4. In last scene, shukla's men had enough time to spray down both Guddu and Golu with their AK's, but no they start with single firing a minion and somehow their automatic AK's changed to pistols.

5. Shukla had enough time to pickup Akhanand and load in his jeep but he couldn't shoot the two guys who are firing at his men in open with pistols.

6. Unnecessary stretching of plot to season 3. What's the point, all the criminals could have killed each other and show could have ended better.

and this is just the last episode, no major plot setting made sense in the whole season. I don't give 1 star normally, but the writers deserve it. Hope this senseless glorification of Indian criminals doesn't get a season 3.

I can't believe that they gonna make 3rd season without munna

Liked the story with excellent acting Performance from the giant like Pankaj Tripathi and great accompanied by Divyanshu.. all other are also good.. but as it has shown at the end, Munna is murdered by Guddu, that was pathetic.. if Munna is no more, there won't be much interest in Mirzapur 3.

Thanks god we have more to see from this lit series.

As we move from S1 to S2 we can't expect them to still carry comedy scenes from guddu, As he is on the way to take revenge from munna . Idk why people are not satisfied . In terms of justice maurya was not doing correct he should have instead taken him to the headquarters 🤷. As they have developed a base in S2 I think S3 will be impactful in all espects.

The world of Mirzapur was new to everyone in season 1 that's why it's well praised and season 2 isn't. It was a decent season with less action scenes and there is nothing wrong with that and why people wanted same performance from Ali Fazal? He is not the same person, he lost half of his family in front of him, obviously its going to change him as a character, its called character development. I don't want them to kill Munna (Divyendu Sharma) but I'm glad Pankaj Tripathi is still there. Decent watch, way better than Sacred Games season 2.
