Jamie Oliver has suggested that improvements in the eating habits of young people could be harmed by government spending cuts. The TV chef has set up four "Ministry Of Food" centres to help educate the public on nutrition and cooking, but the future of the first Ministry in Rotherham is believed to be under threat, The Guardian reports. Oliver told the newspaper that hands-on education is "the only way forward" to boost public health and added that such projects "won't blossom through cuts". "The reason why I'm so passionate about the Ministry of Food is that we're fully booked, and if we had another staff member we could put another third on the numbers," he continued.
