Dr. Chadwick blames Ben for releasing the dragon from the Forever Knights. Since Ben was called in to help them kill the dragon after it escaped on its own (see "Be-Knighted"), this is either a factual error in the story or Dr. Chadwick has re-written history in his own mind to scapegoat Ben for the Forever Knights' own failings.
Gwen stands in the way of deadly ray beams aimed at Kevin before she puts up her mana shield to protect them both, neither dying, getting burned nor losing her left leg.
The Forever Knights initially want Ship to take control of, and operate, the interstellar starship they're built (since no human can operate it). Later, Ship is seen to have instead mimicked the entire ship. If the later is the case, it is unclear what became of the spaceship that the Forever Knights built.
In their previous adventure, it was clear that Ben's team had to take care of (nullify) the DNAlien situation in Los Soledad as soon as possible, but here they are relaxed, eating popcorn while watching TV (Ben) or driving to the mall to go shopping (the rest). They also continue to ignore Grandpa Max' instruction for Ben to seek out other Plumber offspring and assemble them into a fighting force. Cooper (contacted in "Undercover") would constitute this, but he's nowhere to be seen and is not mentioned. With Earth imperiled, Ben's leadership and resolve are shown to be seriously wanting.
