Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has said that his band had a "lovely day" with Girls Aloud when they performed a duet together in 2008. The singer had previously suggested that the group were "threatened" when they tried to withdraw from the planned collaboration for ITV special The Girls Aloud Party. Asked if the band felt pressure to say yes to different projects, Wilson told Digital Spy: "We get offered things all the time, and then you turn loads of things down. "Sometimes you turn things down and then someone else does it and you think, 'You know, that was quite cool'. Take That have topped this year's Christmas albums chart with The Circus. The album sold 382,000 copies last week to take its three-week sales tally to 1.133m. It is the now the second biggest seller of the year behind Duffy's Rockferry set, the Official Chart Company confirmed. Leona Lewis charts at two with 165,000 sales of Spirit, while Kings of Leon climb to three after selling 153,000 copies of Only By The Night. A peak of 14.6 million viewers tuned in to see Alexandra Burke win The X Factor last night, according to early ratings figures. Overall, the final results show had a massive 13.46m (54.4%) from 9.40pm - The X Factor's best ratings in its five-year history. The peak of 14.59m, and an incredible 61.4% audience share, came at 10.40pm. The 2007 finale managed a peak of 12.74m (55.1%). Earlier, the final performances show averaged 13.2m (50.3%) over 90 minutes from 7.10pm. It peaked with 14.61m (54.4%) at 8.10pm. Sandwiched between the two shows, The Girls Aloud Party - featuring performances and sketches from Cheryl Cole's band - had 8.37m (32.3%).
