Warning: Spoilers
Here we have "Sports Illustrated: Paige Spiranac" and it says here on imdb that this runs for two minutes only, but I believe that, judging from the description, this refers to is a clip of actually under six minutes that was released back in February 2018, so over four years old now. The focus is on professional golf player Paige Spiranac. It is a mix of footage from a beach photoshoot, therefore the not too many clothes, and an interview with the athlete. In there, she opens up about the crucial personal subjects of our time: sexuality, bullying and how she became the woman she is today. Or was in 2018 I should say. There were also quite a few tears coming with her statements. Unfortunately, I must say that from my personal perception the entire thing did not feel too authentic overall. Maybe it was scripted, maybe rehearsed before, maybe indeed real. Nobody can ever say for sure, except Spiranac herself and we know her version. I was already surprised about the tears in the middle part, but in the end there was a second watery segment. But no worries, Paige Spiranac, I am glad you are proud that you became a Sports Illustrated model and I have no intention to take anything away from you. I am just not sure if this choice says something positive about her or something negative about Sports Illustrated eventually.

Maybe the moment I liked the least here was when she talked about how we can encourage her and cheer her on and she will encourage us and cheer us on. So, who of you readers has been cheered on by Spiranac so far? Unfortunately(?) I have not and probably never will be. I can live with it. Aside from that, from a neutral perspective, if you like blondes in bikinis at beaches, this is what you get here and then you can maybe watch it. I personally cannot really see another reason unfortunately. The depth they were going for is not there I am afraid. But props to Miss Spiranac that she has managed to become a professional golfer. Being a professional athlete is always something I look up to, but I must still admit I have never heard the name I think in terms of victories or titles and trophies. So yeah, lowest rating from me here. Difficult to even call this a movie. The golf club swinging adds nothing either and the rest did not get me one bit curious about her as an influencer or a person. Rather the opposite. Not a fan at all as you can see from my rating. If she stands out in her sport, then it's most likely because she is not another male over 40, over 50 even, but personality-wise she did not leave an impact on me at all. Definitely skip the watch and I am really glad it was this short, unfortunately not the aforementioned two minutes. That would have been even better.
