- A monster snatches several children and young adults throughout the film. Although it is not gory and the camera cuts away it is done in sudden and aggressive ways.

- The monster can be frightening for younger kids but anyone over 13 should be able to handle it.
- Several young adults are stalked, chased, and snatched away by a creepy monster. However, the camera cuts away before anything is shown when the monster grabs the majority of them. Sometimes this happens suddenly and may be startling for very young viewers.

Violence & Gore
- In a dream sequence, a young boy has two pencils stabbed into his hands violently by two other students, all onscreen. Afterwards, the monster appears and breaks his neck, but the young boy wakes up right when his neck is about to be snapped.
- A young boy is beaten up by other students and he sustains injuries with bloodshed. This occurs twice in the film.
- A young girl beats up another girl rather violently. This includes bashing the victims head against the bathroom sink, punching the victim in the face after knocking her down, and later bashing the victims head against the hallway floor. This leads to the victim developing injuries and revealing bloodshed, all of this is onscreen.
- A young boy is stabbed through his leg by the monster's claws. This is not cut away and is all onscreen.
- A very young girl is suddenly snatched by the monster.
- A young boy is thrown around and attacked by the monster. He is also stomped on. The boy is clearly in distress during this ordeal.
- An adult man is stabbed by the monster in his abdomen. Blood is seem coming from his mouth.
