It's hard to criticise tv show in the coronavirus days with all the restrictions and the need to protect the cast and crew of each show.all these things effect the writing.
NCIS LA this season isn't different, we can see the changes but it's not really reason for lacking in the writing that was also in the previous season. But this episode was really good. The plot itself was weak but the focus on the characters were good. I love that it focused on our main characters Callen/Sam/Kensi/Deeks/ Nell and finally the return of Eric! We missed him. Loved the return to callen history I always thought from all the characters that his was the most interesting one, the scenes between him and his foster brother were good and maybe lead to more character growth for him.
We also got Christmas miracle this episode that was nice.
Only thing that I wanted was one scene with everyone together that was missing but hopefully next season.
