The best episode this season.

It's hard to criticise tv show in the coronavirus days with all the restrictions and the need to protect the cast and crew of each show.all these things effect the writing. NCIS LA this season isn't different, we can see the changes but it's not really reason for lacking in the writing that was also in the previous season. But this episode was really good. The plot itself was weak but the focus on the characters were good. I love that it focused on our main characters Callen/Sam/Kensi/Deeks/ Nell and finally the return of Eric! We missed him. Loved the return to callen history I always thought from all the characters that his was the most interesting one, the scenes between him and his foster brother were good and maybe lead to more character growth for him. We also got Christmas miracle this episode that was nice.

Only thing that I wanted was one scene with everyone together that was missing but hopefully next season.

Episode 1206

Warning: Spoilers
So, that's how Deeks stays? Hetty just pulls strings? It doesn't make sense that someone with a decade experience as liason would have to do an entry level job either.

I didn't like the case but I like the story in between

Warning: Spoilers
Before anyone says to keep it Navy remember that from the beginning of this show they have always been cases and 'missions' surrounding G's past. So this case like before is related to G history. A big part of the storyline in NCIS: LA is about G not know what his first name is, being the son of a Russian and American Romanian spies.

Again there was no Christmas party but the stories between like seeing Sam's daughter, Callen's foster brother, Beale being a millionaire and Kensi and Deeks buying a house. To get an episode like this you would have to have watched from season 1. I like how the writer remembered that Beale borrowed money from Deeks to invest in his idea. Was Kensi right about collecting what he was owed? He has all right to ask for the money but they have known each other for years.

Really bad

The story is flat, real bad writing, the actors have trouble to make something watchable out of it. I regret having wasted the time watching it. I used to love this show. Not anymore.
