Mediocre at its finest

Cow Pie Kid was meh, as it was really boring at times, but it was amazing compared to Saved by the spell. They tech the lesson to kids to not perform magic at talent shows because it is lame, and Lincoln's friends try to do everything they can to stop him. I mean come on! Really? Not too mention, it is boring too, just like it's partner episode.

Speaking of a magic trick, can this episode disappear?

Warning: Spoilers
Cow Pie Kid is just another one of those bad standard bad Lynn episodes. There's not really much to talk about, but the ending is actually ok, it being that Lynn learns a lesson after they lose the game. Saved by the Spell however is pure trash. I understand Lincoln's friends motivation to ruin his act somewhat, but the lengths they go to is pretty far. When they do convince Lincoln to join their dance, it only takes about a minute for Lincoln to change his mind after seeing Stella's 'Yodel Boy' costume. Instead of having Meryl twerk, maybe they could have used some of the time to make everything feel more natural. The ending is also very predictable (as usual) with Lincoln doing his act. It's another weirdly forced moment considering Lincoln rightfully tells them off not even a minute earlier. But everyone loves his mediocre magic and the episode ends with Meryl twerking. Yup, this is a 1.5/10. Cow Pie Kid is a 2/10, so this episode averages to a 2/10.

Warning: Spoilers
Lincoln: "Hey, guys. Sorry I'm late. These new jock straps are confusing. Dodgeball already over?!"

Clyde: "Lincoln, good news! For the talent show, we're gonna sing and shake our groove things!"

Rusty: "But, like, in a cool way."

Lincoln: "Actually, guys, I had a solo act in mind. It's time Royal Woods Middle School was introduced to Lincoln the Magnificent!" "Eh?"

Liam: "A fedora? Ain't nothing cool about that."

Stella: "Shield formation!"

Lincoln: "Hey, what are you doing?"

Rusty: "Saving your life, dude! You can't be doing magic in front of the whole school!"

Lincoln: "Why not? What's wrong with magic?"

Stella: "Sorry, Linc, but top hats and card tricks? Isn't that a little young?"

Zach: "Immature, really.

" Liam: "So fifth grade."

Clyde: "We're just trying to look out for you. This is your middle school reputation on the line."

Lincoln: "Um, what could be better for my reputation than this?" "Cool, right?"

Rusty: "Not the face!"

Lincoln: "Sorry, guys. Gotta go. That's my only dove!"

Stella: "Guys, as Lincoln's friends, we can't let him do this magic thing."

Liam: "He's like a piglet during breach birth. We just need to turn him around."

Clyde: "Oh, I don't know if I can do this. It sounds like scheming. You know scheming hurts my stomach!"

Lincoln: "Ladies and gentlemen, I, Lincoln the Magnificent, will make this dove disappear!" "Ta-daaaa..."

Clyde: "I'll live with the discomfort."
