This is one of the first syndicated game shows to premiere once the Financial Interest and Syndication (fin-syn) rules were enacted in 1970. It was distributed by ABC Films and then by it's successor Worldvision Enterprises starting in 1973.
During Season 1, in 1972, the show would tape a syndicated episode at the old NBC studios were the Daytime Let's Make a Deal (1963) originally taped. In this episode, Monty's Instant Cash Machine made its debut.
In Season 2, Steve Feke would return to the show as a writer. Steve came and went many times during the show's run, but this time he would return permanently.
During Season 2, Monty Hall's autobiography would be published and he would begin to plug and even use it in a deal.
Minor set changes would take place in Season 2 and LMAD Trading Floor is now imposed on the Audience restraint.
