- Kim Goody: How's Harry?
- Ethel Davis: Oh, he's fine. I haven't seen him anywhere this morning.
- Kim Goody: Oh, Ethel...
- Ethel Davis: What?
- Kim Goody: He's promised to take me out for the time of my life.
- Ethel Davis: Really, whatcha gonna do?
- Kim Goody: Well, I think we'll start the day with a lovely, intimate meal, candlelit supper, you know. Then a walk underneath the stars. And then... we'll see a romantic movie.
- Ethel Davis: Oh, how lovely.
- [both sigh deeply]
- Ethel Davis: Mind you, knowing Harry, It'll be a hot dog, pop down the high street and look in one of the television shop windows.
- Kim Goody: I'll look forward to that.
- Ethel Davis: Now look here, chaps, you know the old saying, the old adage, "Never charge a vet to make an emergency call to a penguin in the bath."
- One of the kids: Who said that, Ethel?
- Ethel Davis: I did. Or perhaps it was William Shakespeare. I can't remember. Anyway, don't do it.
