Great series.
Rose Larkin witnesses in horror as her aunt and uncle are killed, she's tasked with getting to a phone, and ringing a Night Agent, she gets through to Peter Sutherland, who's tasked with saving her life.
Perhaps the best new series from Netflix for some time, just good old fashioned, entertaining, suspenseful and intriguing drama, at no point does this show feel like a tick box exercise, something they've been guilty of too many times.
High octane excitement, just goes to show what a good producer can do.
The first episode really did put me in mind of The Bodyguard, a BBC series from a few years ago, similar storyline, even Gabriel Basso reminded me a little of Richard Madden, but after the wonderful opening episode, it veers off into a totally new direction.
Wonderful first episode, it does lull a little in the middle, but it ends on a real high, right episodes would have worked so much better.
Gabriel Basso absolutely nailed it, wonderful performance, I look forward to seeing more from him, I'm intrigued if he will return for series two, or move on to other projects.
9/10.
