The woman who sells flowers outside the Illustrated Press office is worried
about her son, who is often engaged in criminal activities, and is spurred
on to crime by his girlfriend. One night, the couple plans to rob a man
riding in the son's taxicab, but the girlfriend shoots and kills a policeman
after the robbery. The son is imprisoned, but everyone feels that since he
is not a bad boy at heart, and that he is learning a trade in prison, that
he will be totally rehabilitated when he gets out of jail.
