Aka ep#VIC5 Anne and Peter help Humpty test different items to see whether they can be lifted with a magnet. Model boats are used in a water tray to recite the poem of the week. It is half past nine on the flower clock with a rotary clothes line underneath. Kenrick tells a story about 'Smokey Sal' the coal boat. Peter looks at a set of traffic lights and sings a song about the three coloured lights. Ann pretends to go driving in a car with Humpty. There is a projection from a rotating shadow lamp, making it appear as though the car is moving through the countryside. The useful box is the car engine. The car breaks down and Ann asks Peter if he can fix it. Peter realises the car has run out of petrol and teases Ann for having forgot to refuel the car. Through the round window there is busy traffic. Peter takes over driving the car. Anne and Humpty play a 'joke' on Peter by pretending that a magnet can lift paper, by hiding a paper clip underneath. Peter uses a magnet to roll a metal bottle top over a piece of cardboard.
