This show keeps giving us what we need. Just real-life moments that we experience in our lives as humans. I am so happy for Kevin that he has a family now. We all going to wait patiently for the next season!

On the Move

We pick up the Big Three at the hospital, in different incarnations. The vehicle is the vehicle as most of the episode takes place in a car. Jack and Rebecca take the triplets home. The are both in states of disorder. Rebecca is deeply worried and fearful. Jack is stunned and full of adrenaline. Kate picks up her new baby from the birth mom and then finds that they will not connect after this. Kevin and Madison are tired and that is causing Kevin to zone out pretty badly. Finally, we are there for the arrival of Randall and Beth's little girl. Randall, as usual, can't avoid making his unfair wishes known. But everyone eventually finds a way. Toby gets bad news.

Beautiful storytelling

Warning: Spoilers
This show never fails to impress. Wonderful interwoven stories told through various generations of a perfectly imperfect family. They aren't afraid to show the realities and feelings of self doubt that come with taking a baby (or babies) home for the first time. Also, I gotta commend the casting. The older versions of Deja and Annie are spot on! The way older Déjà talks is spot on when compared to the present day Déjà does. Everything about this show just hits beyond the mark. Can't wait to see what happens next!

As A Dad...

This episode hit so many different feelings perfectly. From the overwhelmed feelings of that first day out of the hospital to when you finally get home. Spot on.

Emotionally Beautiful & New Chapters
naydenlover26 February 2021
This episode takes place over three times and all over one event - leaving the hospital as parents. First its Rebecca andJack with the triplets, Then its Randall and Beth with their second daughter and third its Kevin and Maddie and Kate and Toby with their newborns. All different all beautiful and going through the struggles new born parents face and their own fears. There is one scene with Kevin in particular where I won't spoil it here that brought me to tears cause it was so unexpected And then there is a fourth story and believe me its a true surprise with the reveal a the end that leaves me with more questions and thoughts but a beautiful twist

Still loving this BUT...
aimesuk20 March 2021
This episode irritated me a lot.

I'm a woman who's given birth to twins. Is it just in America that women aren't told it'll hurt - a lot - to drive, right after giving birth? I was literally told I wasn't allowed, and I wouldn't have considered it anyway. I hurt! A lot!

I get the message this episode was delivering, but that really took me out of it. It's painful enough just sitting let alone driving (and that remains even if you've had a c-section - try driving after major abdominal surgery and you soon find out how much those muscles are involved!). It really felt like that terrible soap opera trope of when the woman has a baby and immediately pings back into her pre-pregnancy clothes and way of life with just a mention of how tired she is, and then we never see the child again. Maybe partly this was because of Covid. I don't know.

It honestly felt like the writers of the show didn't bother talking to any women who'd had a baby, let alone a medical professional who might have said - hey, we'd never recommend a brand new mother drive herself home, especially when there are other adults available to do it.

It's only babies
wissia27 February 2021
This show used to be about individuals beside being about how these individuals interacted with their families. This last season is basically about birthing and newborns. I understand that writing and filing during Covid was very difficult, but they've resorted to very cheap expedients to make sure they'd squeeze a few cheesy tears out of us, so that we wouldn't notice how empty these episodes are. They all seem to have frozen in time, their professions no longer matter, their growth as individuals neither. Only screaming babies and parenthood, as if that could be the only possible and inescapable choice for an adult human. I thought this show had more depths than this.

Slipping standards

I think this show has really gone down hill! I used to think it was great, but its just gotten slow and dreary. Still ill tune in next week to see if any more members or Randall's family turn up!
