Lud is an angry drunk in Chepachet, Rhode Island. His friend Cole is a photographer. The middle-age friends are recovering after a car accident. They hire mentally challenged maid Karen from a group home run by religious Mrs. Ware. Darlene broke up with Cole two days before the crash. She returns looking for Cole. Eventually, it's revealed that Lud is secretly sexually abusing her.
The acting is inferior although the level of difficulty is relatively high. Angry drunk can be hard and mentally handicap is really tricky. These are obviously some local theater actors. They show some skills but not enough. The main problem is the amateurish production. It would be worthwhile to invest in some better sound equipment. The camera work isn't that professional. This is more at a film school level.
