Trivia In the first scene in the cinema, Stalin is watching The Spoilers (1942). In the second scene in the cinema, all that is seen is the final shot of a film - a title card with the words, "The End" superimposed on a map of Alaska. This would appear to be from "The Spoilers" as this film is set in Alaska. So, with either Stalin was watching same film again or the film-makers twice used clips from the one film to give the impression that he watched many American films. See more »
Goofs Anna is taken to her appointments with Stalin in Volga GAZ-21 cars. These cars didn't exist in 1952-1953. In 1953, at the time of Stalin's death, the car was still in the early prototype stage. Serial production began only in 1956-1957. See more »
