Originally scheduled for a 3-night shoot, the owner of the 1967 Buick Riviera got very intoxicated before the first night of shooting and ended up passing out in the car on the side of the road. Ron Moon had to then scratch the first day and shoot the whole film in two days.
Sharon Fatoorechi, who plays the Jazz Singer, is the actual singer of "One", the song she sings in the film.
