The exterior shots in the movie were filmed in North Hollywood at Producer/Actor Robert C. Koch's house, while the interior dining room was shot at Producer/Actor Fred Ochs apartment in Hollywood. The film was shot in 2003 as part of the Roulette Films series of shorts, and was chosen by Fred Ochs as his project because it had 2 actors simply sitting at a table. Due to editing problems and personal crises, the movie was not completed until 2005. Black and white was chosen for the thriller/film noir effect and a single light was used to simulate the "interrogation" style of lighting. The planet Mars can be seen in the final exterior shot of the film, as it was the closest it had been to Earth in 60,000 years.
