This documentary follows five people who each found a way to turn their pain into joy. It captures their courage and warm hearts so well that you do see a piece of yourself in each of them, even though at first they may not appear to be like you at all. The story takes you to New York City and surrounding towns as well as Denver, Colorado and even India. It was very cinematic, and as the different stories all start to converge with each other it really shows how connected we all are as human beings, and what we can accomplish together. It left me feeling a strong sense of hope, especially after years of Covid isolation..
