-February 2004. Guy Caron and his wife Jeanne-d'Arc have lived in the same house for more than 50 years. A marine sailor, Guy was at sea eight months a year, while Joan of Arc stayed home to raise their nine children. Old age has brought them together, but something fundamental has always separated them. The director takes a deliberately distant look at his grandparents, giving way to his quest for meaning.
