I'm a huge fan of the show, I love it. I love the storyline very much and I enjoy watching it. But, yesterday I saw myself in one of the stories. A few years ago I started having rare symptoms and a doctor suggested that I had to go and visit a psychiatrist because he couldn't "medically" explain what was happening to me. His arguments were, well you are extremely worried about your baby girl and you have an stressful job so it must be it. When I left, I seriously considered his advice because in all honesty he was the 4th doctor I was checking on the same situation, but my sister told me not to believe him and we found another doctor. Result, I had a neurological disease which needed a rush surgery. So, the case of the woman misdiagnosed hit me hard.
I want to thank this show for letting all the subjects on the table. Yes, it's harder for women. Believe it or not. And the fact, they developed it with no resentment and no hate at all just exposing it. I give my kudos to the writer, a woman herself.
The storyline of Shaun and Lea is seriously the highlight of this sshow, the actor's chemistry is off the charts and I LOVE their scenes together. I'm so happy they are having a baby girl, again because I have a daughter myself.
